| Extensive Research Policy |
St. Clair County Library primarily provides library services to the residents of the county and visitors to the area. The Library also receives long distance information requests, particularly for information that is unique to this area. Because of the increased cost of research time, photocopying, correspondence and mailing, the St. Clair County Library charges for research and photocopies provided by the library staff, including information concerning local history and genealogy. The fee schedule is the following:

Please include your return mailing address and your email address in the event that the Reference staff needs to contact you for further clarification on your request. You will receive the requested information along with an itemized invoice for the research and copying fees.
