Purpose
The purpose of this organization shall be to:
- maintain an association of persons interested in libraries
- encourage and support reading in the community
- focus public attention on the library
- stimulate use of the library's resources and services
- receive and encourage gifts, endowments, and bequests/memorials
- support and cooperate in the development of library services and facilities
- lend legislative support where needed
